Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Bluff City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are being requested for the Bluff City Elementary School Secure Vestibule project. Bid documents in PDF format are available from the Architect, Thompson & Litton, and may be requested by email. A limited license is granted to print and copy the files for bid preparation. Bid documents are also available at specified Builders Exchange locations. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project location. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Architect by the specified deadline and will be answered in an addendum. A bid bond or certified check for 5% of the total bid is required. The successful bidder must execute Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders must be licensed State of Tennessee Contractors as required by state law. The outside of the sealed bid envelope must include specific information: bidder's name, license number, classification, expiration date, and details for certain subcontractors, or a statement that no subcontractors are being used. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn or modified for sixty days after opening. Question Deadline 03/10/2026 All questions regarding this project need to be submitted in writing via email to Mary Darnell at mdarnell@t-l.com. Questions will be answered in an addendum that will be issued no later than March 12, 2026.
