Site work and paving for a road / highway in Muncy Valley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Furnish and place approximately 408 tons of asphalt wearing course, scratch, and 83 tons of asphalt base/trench repair. For the seal contract, furnish and place approximately 2,950 square yards of asphalt prime coat, 2,950 square yards of asphalt surface treatment, 16,169 square yards of asphalt seal coat, and 16,169 square yards of asphalt fog seal. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance, are required from the lowest responsible bidder. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
