Sealed bids are requested for street, road, and alley materials for the calendar year 2026. Items include: Tack Coat (20,000 gallons or less) applied per 2018 INDOT standard specification; Hot Mix Asphalt (10,000 tons or less) per 2018 INDOT specifications, to be produced using virgin materials only, furnished, spread, and rolled on city streets/alleys and patching, paid by the ton; Cold Mix; Pit run gravel (1,000 cubic yards or less) FOB; Indiana specification Class A gravel and washed sand (1,000 tons or less) FOB; Indiana specification Class A limestone and Rip Rap (10,000 tons or less) FOB; Premium diesel (on road 25,000 gallons +/-; off road 6,000 gallons +/-, delivered); Unleaded fuel (8,000 gallons +/- to facility; 2,500 gallons +/- delivered); Fixed oil/gear lube pricing; 15W40 diesel engine oil (3,000 gallons +/- delivered); standard ATF fluid (3,000 gallons +/- delivered); premium tractor hydraulic fluid (3,000 gallons +/- delivered); high temp grease (120 lbs kegs); 80w90 gear oil (120 lbs kegs); diesel exhaust fluid (275 gallons +/-). If an escalator is used, baseline price must be shown at bid time. Bids must be on Form 95 with non-collusion affidavit, bid bond or certified check of 10%, in a sealed envelope marked with item number. Certificate of Insurance must accompany the bid/proposal. The Board of Works and Public Safety reserves rights to waive irregularities or reject any/all bids. Contract remains in effect for the contract duration.
