Description

Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Peru, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Construction of a new hangar building at the Peru Municipal Airport. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTING A STANDARD T-HANGAR WITH CONCRETE FLOOR AND BI-FOLD DOORS, LIGHTS, AND RECEPTACLES. THE PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES TAXILANE PAVEMENT TO ACCESS THE NEW HANGAR FROM THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES. ASSOCIATED WORK ITEMS INCLUDE PRE-ENGINEERED STEEL BUILDING ERECTION, CONCRETE SLAB-ON-GRADE CONSTRUCTION, HANGAR ELECTRICAL, AND TAXIWAY REFLECTORS. OTHER WORK ITEMS INCLUDE SITE PREPARATION, GRADING, DRAINAGE, EROSION CONTROL, PAVEMENT MARKINGS AND SITE RESTORATION. Question Deadline 06/11/2026 A bidder requiring a clarification or interpretation of the project documents shall make a written request to the Owner or the Owner's Representative. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Peru Board of Aviation Commissioners, or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid proposal. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish acceptable performance and payment surety bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price. The right is reserved, as the Peru Board of Aviation Commissioners may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. There will not be a pre-bid meeting
