The project consists of locating and tying-in new water lines to existing mains (6 each), installation/open cut of 6" C-900 PVC water main (4,050 linear feet), jack and bore/directional bore 6" PVC/PE (1,320 linear feet), installation of 6"x6" TS and valve (5 each), 3-way fire hydrant assembly (5 each), 6" PVC (C-900) hydrant lead (30 linear feet), new water service assemblies (20 each), 3/4" - 1 1/2" water service tubing (2,500 linear feet), 2"-4" gate valve and box (2 each), capping existing water main (3 each), haul-in/grade limestone (75 tons), installation and maintenance of traffic control and erosion control, miscellaneous clearing and sitework, and related work as indicated on the drawing, bid form, or reasonably implied. The contract term is 120 calendar days with a construction cost estimate of $393,950.00. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the bid form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office or obtain copies as described. Bids may be submitted electronically via Bid Express. Printed bidding documents require a $100 deposit per set, which is refundable under specified conditions. Partial sets of documents will not be available. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
