**As of April 20, 2026, the project was awarded to Charlie Nansteel tree & excavation LLC, with an awarded amount of $1,209,515.60.** The project consists of a storm sewer extension in the existing Stafore Estates Development, mainly on Gaspar Avenue and Kim Street. Work includes installation of RCP, storm structures, vertical concrete curb, trench restoration, installation of erosion and sediment control facilities, and miscellaneous restoration. Bid alternates include the use of HDPE pipe instead of RCP, extending the storm sewer system further on Kim Street, and milling/overlaying the full width of the road within the project limits. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or acceptable security in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the opening date and may not be withdrawn during this period. The project is subject to the Davis Bacon Act, OSHA regulations, Pennsylvania Act 287 (as amended), the Public Works Employment Verification Act, Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, and Non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations. Hanover Township reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids as deemed in the best interest of the Township.
