**As of April 21, 2026, this project has been awarded.** The work consists of wastewater collection system improvements, including mobilization and demobilization; development, approval, and operation of a traffic control plan and CDOT Utility Permit; replacement of various sizes of gravity sewer lines both below and above 8 feet of cover; installation of steel casing with gravity sewer carrier lines by bore, jack, and open trench; sewer service reconnections and installation; replacement, installation, and removal of manholes; utility crossing concrete supports; pavement and concrete removal and replacement; pavement paint markings; curb, gutter, and sidewalk concrete replacement; removal and disposal of concrete sewer cap; installation of riprap; non-irrigated grass seeding; stormwater management plan; along with all related appurtenances and incidentals of construction. Instructions to bidders include submitting a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety for five percent (5%) of the total bid. Contractors must pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set in the contract documents and ensure non-discrimination in employment. Project funding is provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs' Energy/Mineral Impact Assistance Fund, and bidders must comply with associated requirements such as Davis-Bacon wages and Build America Buy America iron and steel requirements. Hard copies of contract documents are available for purchase, and a partial refund is provided for returned hard copies in good condition within 30 days of bid opening; no refund for electronic sets.
