Work includes a one-story Egress Shop with an approximate footprint of 65 by 67 feet, featuring cast-in-place concrete exterior walls, CMU interior walls, metal deck roofing, and frangible components in the work/explosives area. The building will be supported by micropiles and divided into an administrative area and a work/explosives area. Site work includes asphalt pavement access from an existing taxiway, site grading, water and sewer utility connections, and stormwater management compliant with current ordinances and LID water quality standards. A bid option includes construction of concrete pads for Aerospace Ground Equipment and gaseous oxygen carts. The project also includes a one-story open GOX canopy structure measuring approximately 15 by 30 feet, with metal deck roofing over steel framing supported on concrete pedestals and shallow spread footings. Facilities must comply with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) for a minimum 40-year design life, including building envelope performance, integrated building systems, and required explosive quantity-distance arc setbacks.
