Upgrade the existing HVAC system from a 2-pipe heating hot water and chilled water-cooling configuration to a 4-pipe heating hot water and chilled water-cooling system. The scope includes removing and replacing existing fan coils with new fan coils equipped with both heating hot water and chilled water coils, installing new chilled water distribution piping throughout the building, and reworking piping to fully separate the heating and cooling systems. Chiller pumps will be modified or replaced as required to support the new configuration. Upon completion, the heating hot water system, chilled water system, and fan coil airside will be fully balanced (the Project). Nebo Middle School: Upgrade from a 2-pipe glycol heating and evaporative cooling system to a 4-pipe heating hot water and chilled water-cooling system. The work includes installation of a new air-cooled chiller; replacement of existing heating fan coils with new fan coils equipped with heating hot water and chilled water coils; addition of chilled water coils to select existing fan coils; installation of new chilled water piping throughout the building; replacement of hot water valves, circuit setters, and associated components; installation of mini-split systems within administrative areas; relocation and reconfiguration of the existing gas meter into the building; and testing, adjusting, and balancing of the entire buildings air-side and hydronic systems, including systems being balanced for the first time where applicable. In addition, Contractor will be assessed a liquidated damage of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per calendar day for failure to timely complete punch list items.
