Site work for a museum in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a museum.
- Repair wall to visually and structurally match adjacent section of retaining wall. - Re-use any salvageable pieces of stone, masonry and other materials to complete the repairs. Any additional material or supplies needed to complete the repairs shall be supplied by the Contractor. - Relocate salvageable loose pieces of stone, as needed to complete repairs, to designated area onsite for temporary storage. Remove and dispose of unsalvageable debris. - Repair structure and re-install stone; replace stone where needed to complete the wall. This is to include moving top cap of the entire section back to original locations, and/or replacing top cap as needed, and securing in place similar to original installation. PRE-QUALIFIED SWAM POOL ONLY -- ONLY THOSE CONTRACTORS LISTED ON THE IFB COVER SHEET ARE INVITED TO BID. The Science Museum requires repair to a retaining wall along West Broad Street. Photos are attached for general reference. A site visit is still required of all interested bidders. Pre-qualification requirements: Only those contractors listed on the IFB cover sheet as part of the pre-qualified SWaM pool are invited to bid. Question Deadline 02/27/2026
