Remodeling of an educational facility in Fenton, Michigan. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Fenton Area Public Schools is seeking firm contractor bids for labor and materials to complete the removal and installation of new hallway carpeting at Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School, located at 3255 Donaldson Dr, Fenton, MI 48430. Bidders are responsible for contacting the Director of Operations to set up a pre-bid walk-through. Proposals must be completed in full and include a Familial Disclosure Statement and a notarized Affidavit of Compliance to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. For proposals exceeding $31,321.00, a bid bond from a U.S. Treasury listed surety company or a cashier's check for at least 5% of the proposal amount, payable to Fenton Area Public Schools, must be submitted. All proposals must remain firm for sixty days. Late or incomplete bids will not be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities. The Board also reserves the right to accept the bid that is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Any technical questions with regard to this bid document are to be directed to Attention: Joe Humpert, Director of Operations jhumpert@fentonschools.org The following work to be completed: Middle School - Remove and dispose of all existing hallway carpet. - Perform any needed repairs to underlayment that may occur - Install district chosen carpet -Perform all cleanup necessary
