Renovation of a stadium in Kelseyville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing Stadium Field Lighting. a)District to purchase and provide (for contractor installation) the light fixtures, controls and metal poles. b) District to remove the existing light fixtures and poles and concrete footings. c) At the Southern poles the district will demo the existing walkway around the poles, to the nearest control joints. (There is no existing concrete walkway at the Northern poles). Sealed bids are invited for the Kelseyville High School Stadium Lighting Project. Each bid must be completed on the provided Bid Proposal Form and must conform to the invitation, plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of cash, cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond amounting to at least ten percent of the bid. The successful contractor must comply with labor code provisions regarding the generally prevailing wage rates and apprenticeships. The schedule of per diem wages is based on an eight-hour working day, with overtime and holiday rates at not less than time and one half. Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention from progress payments is permitted. Each bid must list subcontractors performing work exceeding one-half of one percent of the bid price, with their business location and type of work described. Bids are binding for 60 days after bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to bid, and this project is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Bidders and subcontractors must pay at least prevailing wage rates. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must have an 'A or B' General Contractor license at the time of award. Attendance at a mandatory bidders' conference is required for bid consideration. QA deadline: 03/10/2026
