Sealed bids are requested for the Mountain Vista Middle School Irrigation & Grass Reseed Project. Each bid must be completed on the provided Bid Proposal Form and must conform to the invitation, plans, specifications, and all other Contract Documents. Bids are to be accompanied by a deposit of at least ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bid bond from an approved surety. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten days of award notification. Compliance with Labor Code provisions regarding prevailing wage rates, apprenticeships, and related requirements is mandatory. Bids must include a list of subcontractors performing work exceeding one-half of one percent of the bid price, specifying the work each will perform. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days post-opening, and the District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations as required by state law. Each bidder must possess a C-61/D-21 California State Contractor’s License at the time the bid is awarded.
