Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Kelseyville, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,128-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, appurtenances, and services, including transportation and utilities, required to perform and satisfactorily complete all work required for the following project (Project) in full conformance with the Contract Documents: Kelseyville Elementary School New Portable Classroom. This Project has a participation goal for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) of at least three percent (3%) of the overall dollar amount of state funds allocated to the District pursuant to the Leroy F. Sealed bids are invited for the Kelseyville Elementary School New Portable Classroom Project. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Proposal Form provided and must comply with the plans, specifications, and all contract documents. Bids must be accompanied by cash, cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond for at least 10% of the bid amount as a guarantee of contract execution and provision of bonds and insurance within 10 days of award notice. The successful bidder must pay prevailing wages as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations and comply with all applicable labor codes. Substitution of securities in lieu of retention is allowed. Each bid must list subcontractors performing more than 0.5% of the bid price and the type of work performed. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The District reserves the right to reject any bids and encourages minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors to participate. Bidders must possess an "A or B" General Contractor license at the time of award. Attendance at a mandatory bidders' conference is required. The project is subject to prevailing wage and compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations if above specific monetary thresholds.
