Site work and paving for a road / highway in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 2,265 tons of 2.5" Superpave Wearing Course, 19.0mm, in place (overlay), and 362 tons of Superpave Wearing Course, 19.0mm, in place (as directed). There are two options for bidding: Option 1 includes both items, and Option 2 includes Item 1 only. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies if the bid exceeds $100,000. Liquidated damages are set at $975 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Municipality and must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the Municipality. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract within 20 days after award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
