Site work and paving for a road / highway in Spring House, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project involves two bid options for the installation of an ultra-thin bonded wearing course on roadway surfaces at several specified locations within Lower Gwynedd Township. The work also includes roadway crack sealing. All materials, labor, and equipment must comply with Penn DOT Publication 408 and Township Standards. Asphalt materials are based on PennDOT's March 2026 Asphalt Cement Price Index. Each bid must be submitted with a Bid Bond or Certified Check for at least ten percent of the Bid amount, along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided. Proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance are required in a form approved by Lower Gwynedd Township, with security from approved Surety companies. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within sixty days after the bid opening date. Lower Gwynedd Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, eliminate any items from the contract, and waive any informality in the bids. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specified instructions for electronic submission.
