The project will generally consist of the repair of the concrete parapets and prestressed concrete fascia beams and general restoration activities. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid must be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. This project being situated in the northeastern portion of Howe Township approximately 0.1 mile east ofthe intersection of Fork Run Road with State Route 948. For the rehabilitation of an existing Prestressed Concrete Adjacent Box Beam Structure over the South Branch ofTionesta Creek, having a span of forty two (42) feet, as indicated in the Bid Proposal dated February 13, 2026. It is proposed, after execution ofthe contract, to begin work on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed or as otherwise provided in the specifications, and, after that specified date, to prosecute all of said work so as to complete it on or before May 31, 2026.
