Provide all labour, material, and equipment to complete the replacement of approximately 500 ft of the fire water supply mainline in the supervised area in the Chalk River Site. Work includes, but is not limited to: excavation and removal of existing fire water pipe, grouting of abandoned line, installation of new fire water lines, relocation of fire hydrants, temporary disconnection and reconnection of fire water supply line to various buildings, cutting and capping of existing 10" Gray Cast Iron lines, installation of isolation valves, and restoring any removed asphalt, walkways, and grass areas. Excluded from scope is the design of the fire water system and soil sampling. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
