The work consists of the supply, delivery and installation of multi niche columbaria, as well as two niche estate columbaria at Brookside, St. Vital and Transcona Cemeteries. The contractor shall provide details of the time period required from official receipt to delivery and completed installation on site; drawings or photographs and documentation illustrating specifications such as height, width, depth, weight, type of granite, number of niches, roof line base depths, and granite finishes including all flutes and detailing; the capacity and dimensions of each niche; the internal compartment construction material type; product security features including method of securing individual niche compartments, locking methods, number of keys per unit, and ease of key replacement; details of internal compartment weather sealing method and any internal door seal components, ease of replacement, durability, and working method; external fasteners for granite shutters, including pictures of designs offered; thickness of granite shutters and number of spare shutters to be provided; warranty period and terms for each unit; granite colour choices available; and any other design features, items, or services included in the bid. The work will be done on an as required basis, authorized by the Contract Administrator or Users. The City is not obligated to purchase any quantity beyond actual operational requirements and reserves the right to alter or terminate the contract with thirty days notice.
