Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.
Reconstruction of four blocks of roadways with cul-de-sac, approximately 1,000 LF of roadway, pulverizing 6,200 SY of pavement, 900 LF of small diameter storm sewer and structures, excavation below subgrade, 200 tons of supplemental dense graded base, 1,400 tons of asphalt, erosion control, traffic control, and all other associated surface turf restoration. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
