Submission of bids shall be conclusive assurance and warranty that the bidder has examined the proposed work and understands all of the requirements for the performance of the work. The City of Rolling Meadows is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install a steam humidifier system at Fire Station 15. Interested contractors may request a site walkthrough to review existing conditions, take measurements, and document the project area to assist with preparing an accurate proposal. All work performed for this project is applicable to Prevailing Wage. The written questions, along with the Citys responses, shall be circulated to all known prospective contractors without identifying the party submitting the questions. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a bid bond, executed by a corporate surety company, a bank cashiers check or a certified check payable to the City of Rolling MeadowsaEUR for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The proposal guaranty checks of all, except the two responsive, responsible proposers which the City determines in its sole discretion to be the proposers with whom the City desires to commence negotiations for a contract, will be returned after the proposals have been checked and tabulated.
