The City of Rolling Meadows, Illinois is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services including solid waste collection, recyclables collection and processing, and landscape waste collection and disposal services. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the scope of services and in the format specified in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The contract will be offered for an approximately five-year initial term, with a possible three-year extension period. Sealed proposals must be delivered as specified and will not be accepted after the designated time. One original and three photocopies, along with an electronic copy in PDF format, are required. Proposals sent by facsimile are not accepted. Questions or exceptions regarding the RFP should be submitted in writing as detailed in the instructions. Each proposal must include a signed and notarized statement of certification. The City reserves the right to determine the competence and capacity of any contractor and may request additional evidence as needed to evaluate the ability and resources to perform the required work. Contractors are expected to thoroughly understand the conditions and requirements of the services to be provided, and submission of a proposal signifies such understanding and intent to comply unless otherwise noted.
