Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Davis, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes stormwater infrastructure replacements at several locations around the City, including relocation of a drain inlet at one location, installation of new drain inlets at three locations, and replacement of a drain pipe at one location. Additionally, drain inlets and drain pipes are to be abandoned at two locations. The work also includes removal and re-sloping of the gutter at one location, and the removal and salvage of bicycle push buttons at two locations. Furthermore, curb, gutter, sidewalk, hot-mix asphalt (HMA), and base material are to be replaced as needed to facilitate construction of the drain inlets and pipes. All work must be performed in accordance with the Project Plans and Specifications, the City of Davis Standard Specifications January 1996 Edition with addenda through September 2021, prevailing wage rates, labor surcharge and equipment rental rates, and all applicable local and state laws and regulations. Document Acquisition Note Continued:Any bidder that fails to purchase a complete set of plans, specifications and proposal forms from BPX Printing and Graphics prior to the bid opening date and time OR is not included on the BPX Printing and Graphics plan holder list shall have their bid deemed non-responsive. the following classification(s) throughout the time it submits its Bid and for the duration of the contract: Class A - General Engineering Contractor License For further information, contact Luis Hernandez, Assistant Civil Engineer, lhernandez@cityofdavis.org.
