Site work and paving for a road / highway in Davis, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to construct various intersection improvements at Hutchison Drive and La Rue Road. The work includes median and curb ramp reconstruction, minor paving, striping, and traffic signal modification. Trade work covered includes concrete, paving, striping, and traffic signal programming. The intersection will remain in use during construction. Bidders are required to have a current and active "A" General Engineering Contractor's license at the time of bid submission. All work is subject to the prevailing wage requirements. Only bidders who participate in the mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk in their entirety will be allowed to bid as prime contractors. The awarded contractor must make best efforts to provide qualified small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) with maximum opportunity to participate. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or engage in any portion of this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The awarded contractor and its subcontractors are required to follow all nondiscrimination requirements and pay at least the UC Fair Wage.
