Renovation of an educational facility in Davis, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 31,077-square-foot educational facility.
Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be addressed in writing only to Universitys Representative: Alex Havrilenko, Project Manager c/o contracts.dcm@ucdavis.edu Design and Construction Management, University of California 255 Cousteau Place, Davis, California 95618 Unitrans Facility South End Renovation includes renovation of approximately 1000 sq-ft of space at the south end of the maintenance facility including the following: selective demolition, wall infill at existing door, framing and drywall, new doors and hardware and signage. Accessibility scope of work includes renovation for two restrooms and fixtures, interior finishes, minor plumbing modifications, new mechanical unit and ductwork, electrical and lighting modifications, new data lines and phone, and fire sprinklers and fire alarm modifications. Funding is provided in part by the FTA Grant # CA-2020-242-00. This project is subject to Davis Bacon and or other related acts (as applicable), Federal requirements, as well as adherence to the California prevailing wage rates. California Wage Determination: 2025-2 & *Davis Bacon Federal Wage Decision: CA20260007 1/23/2026 Contract Time: 120 days. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: General Building Contractor -"B". The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. Event Site Walkthrough :It is currently anticipated that the Conference/Job Walk will last approximately 2 hours. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk attendees should plan to arrive on Campus at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled meeting time to make arrangements for parking. Visitors must have a valid permit to park on campus. Daily Visitor Permits may be purchased from the AggiePark - AMP Park in C Zone areas (see signs in parking lots for zone information).
