The project is for the Crocker St. Lift Station Replacement. The work includes demolition of the existing Crocker St. lift station and installation of a new station at a new location. It includes installation of a lift station enclosure to house the new pump control panel, with the pump control panel purchased by the City of Wausau for installation by the Contractor. Other aspects include all associated mechanical and electrical work, new pumps, installation of a new wet well, connection to the City’s existing SCADA system, pump programming, painting, construction of a new access drive, abandonment of the existing station, and associated site restoration. The project also involves construction of a concrete driveway for the lift station, installation of sanitary sewer, force main, and all associated fittings, installation of RCP Storm Sewer, sanitary and storm manholes, as well as demolition and replacement of the HMA roadway. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Board of Public Works. Pre-qualification documents must show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract in accordance with Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. The Board's decision as to qualifications shall be final. Bidders must also be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price will also be required of the successful bidder.
