Provide weekly maintenance services for District I cemeteries through September 30, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for labor and equipment to maintain Bedausky, Vineland, Nay Ah Shing, and Lakeside cemeteries. Weekly maintenance includes cleaning cemeteries of debris and leaves, mowing, and weed whipping. The contractor is also responsible for filling settled areas and reestablishing turf, with black dirt supplied by the Public Works Department. Some weekly services may be canceled due to weather conditions affecting grass growth. Bidders must submit proposals showing the weekly cost to perform the specified work schedule. The bid must be signed by the contractor. Proposals must include a copy of the current MLB Vendor’s License (or submitted application), certificate of insurance for General Liability and Property Damage, and an authorized signature sheet if not already on file. Proposals are to be mailed and properly labeled. Only mailed submissions will be accepted; FedEx/UPS and hand delivery are not accepted. Proposals not submitted as instructed will be rejected. The Community Development reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason. Firms must be licensed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, and a copy of the license or license application must be included with the proposal.
