The work generally involves cleaning and assessing the condition of approximately 5,500 linear feet of 30-inch to 42-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains in Council District 5. The project will generate data on the condition of these sewer mains to be incorporated into the Sanitary Sewer Engineering Section’s Info360 Asset database for future project scoping and prioritization. All video inspections must be conducted in accordance with the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP). All proposals must be submitted via Biddingo (www.biddingo.com/sanjose) before the specified deadline. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely submission. Bidders must obtain all procurement documents from the Biddingo website and periodically check for the most recent updates and addenda. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted via Biddingo by the stated question deadline. Bidders are required to have a valid California contractor’s license (classification A or C34 or C42) and ensure all designated subcontractors are registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements as well as the Project Labor Agreement between the City of San José and the Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Building & Construction Trades Council. Each bid must include an electronic copy of the bidder's bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid. Bond and certificate requirements apply as stated, and compliance with CARB Off-Road Regulations is mandatory for all relevant equipment.
