Initiating Organization: Engineering District 8-0 Agreement Type: Open End 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Design and Misc Services The scope of this project is for the full replacement of the structure that carries SR 286 over Kiskiminetas River (First Sergeant Alexander Kelly Memorial Bridge) in Saltsburg Borough, Indiana County. BMS # 32-0286-0010-0000 The selected engineering Consultant will be required to perform all tasks and activities necessary to complete Preliminary Engineering, Final Design, and Construction Consultation. The Preliminary Engineering tasks and activities will include but not be limited to: field surveys, utility coordination, design criteria report, line and grade submission, TS&L, H&H Report, preliminary traffic control plan, 90% right of way plan, public involvement, design field view, constructability and safety reviews, E&S Plan, preliminary drainage and stormwater design, environmental clearance, subsurface explorations, and other Preliminary Engineering tasks as required. Final Design tasks and activities will include but not be limited to: field surveys, structure foundation report, roadway plans, utility coordination, final right of way plan, final structure plan and supporting calculations, construction CPM development, constructability and safety reviews, preparation of PS&E package, subsurface utility investigations if required, final traffic control plan, permitting, and other Final Design tasks as required. Construction Consultation tasks and activities will include but not be limited to: shop drawing reviews, attendance at pre-job meeting, survey, review of construction submissions, review of any alternate designs and addressing all RFI's from the Contractor, and other Construction Consultation tasks as required.
