Renovation of a swimming pool in Holmdel, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Sealed bids are sought for "Resurfacing & Related Repairs to the Main Pool at the Holmdel Swim Club." Bids must be submitted through the specified procurement portal; hard copies are not accepted. All bidders and subcontractors must comply with requirements related to equal employment opportunity and must submit the appropriate affirmative action program. Corporations and similar entities must disclose names and addresses of stockholders with a ten percent or greater interest. Penalties apply for false statements. The project must conform to local public contract laws, and the Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities if deemed in its best interest. Any basic questions regarding the bid shall be directed in writing to Rachel Tarantul at rtarantul@holmdel.gov. Please note: Vendors are to use the portal's Q&A function for questions relating to scope, technical requirements, etc. No questions impacting the integrity with be answered. The general nature of the work shall be the renovation of the mar cite surface of the main pool and related repairs at Holmdel Swim & Tennis Center, Bailey Lane, Holmdel, NJ. The pool is a white cement surface, totaling 4600 square foot of wall, steps, and floor surface area. The pool is 84' long by 54' wide. Resurfacing the pool will include the removal of all loose, delaminated, deteriorated mar cite, chisel / cut work around tile, acid washing, scratch coat, bonding and final coat. The pool also contains eight (8) blue tile lap lane markings on the bottom of the pool and corresponding markings on the sides. If tiles need to be replaced, replace as needed. Any and all necessary permits and requirements are the sole responsibility of the contractor (related fees will be waived) Contractor responsible for removing water from pool.
