Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Completed plans call civil work for a sidewalk / parking lot and transportation facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of rental car canopies for the Airport Authority of Airport District No. 1. The project includes a base bid with construction of sidewalk and an architectural canopy covering both new and existing sidewalk between the terminal building and parking lot. There is also an additive alternate for the construction of a pre-fabricated canopy structure over a section of the existing rental car parking area. Bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis using the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form and include additive alternate bid items as indicated. Bids must be accompanied by bid security and the successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders must be licensed to perform work in Louisiana. Instructions specify the use of digital bid documents, the process for addenda, and options for electronic bid submission through QuestCDN. Bids must remain in effect for 45 days after opening, and the airport authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 03/20/2026: All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
