The work includes removing and replacing carpet and/or luxury vinyl tile (LVT) at Cottonwood Elementary School (CES), Centennial Middle School (CTMS), Montrose High School (MHS), Northside Elementary School (NES), Olathe Elementary Childhood Center - Modular (OES-ECC), and Olathe Middle High School (OMHS). The Montrose County School District (MCSD, Owner) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the replacement of carpet flooring and LVT at multiple school locations this summer. Contractor is responsible for measuring square footage and cove base lineal footage. The primary locations are Cottonwood Elementary School (CES), Centennial Middle School (CTMS), Montrose High School (MHS), Northside Elementary School (NES), Olathe Elementary Childhood Center main modular (OES-ECC) and Olathe Middle High School (OMHS). The selected contractor will be responsible for the removal of existing flooring and cove base, along with the installation of a 15 year commercial warranty tile LVT where specified, and Mohawk Group Carpet Squares: Side Stripe, color/pattern West Point, or J and J Floors/Carpet tile/ Intrinsic Accent - color innate accent or an equivalent specification carpet square, along with Roppe 700 series black thermoplastic cover base or equivalent spec cove base. MCSD will make the color selections if the proposed product differs from the specified one. Project RFP documents may be obtained electronically at the MCSD website mcsd.org or through the provided link. No hard copies of bidding documents will be provided. No deposit is required. A mandatory bid walk starts promptly at Cottonwood Elementary School (CES), 3500 Woodgate Road Montrose, CO 81401, and will proceed to CTMS, MHS, NES, OMHS, and finish at OES-ECC. The Montrose County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or cancel this RFP in its entirety.
