Reference Number 0000414420 The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (OCWRC) operates and maintains the Walled Lake-Novi Wastewater Treatment Plant (WLN WWTP), the administration and laboratory building has a total of 20 windows that have reached their end of life. The current windows were installed in 1992. OCWRC is seeking bids for removal and disposal of old windows, procurement of new windows, and installation of new windows under the following scope of work. This solicitation includes the provision, shipping, delivery, removal/disposal, installation, and warranty of the specified product. Specific requests for clarification must be submitted before All questions should be submitted in online and will be answered in the form of an addendum to the RFP. Oakland County reserves the right to waive, at its discretion, any irregularity or informality that Oakland County deems correctable or otherwise not warranting rejection of the RFP. A. Fiberglass or vinyl framed sliding double pain windows. a. Full frame install, cutting windows out of block. b. New foam fill, tape and sealed. Plumb, level, trim and caulked. c. Interior trim to be installed and painted to match current wall color. d. Window frame color to be determined based on availability, darker color preferred. e. Aluminum exterior trim color to match window color. f. Full, proper disposal of removed aluminum windows off site. B. A total of 20 windows, 11 are approximately 64" x 48" in size, 9 are approximately 48" x 48" in size. Measurements to be taken by the bidders during Pre-Bid meeting. C. Windows will be installed during facility operating hours (7:00am to 3:30pm) at the following address: Walled Lake-Novi Wastewater Treatment Plant 46351 West Road Novi, MI 48377 D. Site contact will be provided upon award. E. Contractors shall have full use of premises for construction operations. Contractor's use of premises is limited only by Owner's right to perform work. a. Driveways and Entrances serving the premises must be kept clear and available to Owner, Owner's employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use these areas for parking or storage of materials. F. Bidders shall submit their bid as a lump sum amount. The line items on the bid shall include the cost of the windows including installation. Taxes shall not be included. G. The awarded bidder shall deliver and install the items at the address for the facility and remove and dispose of current windows. H. The warranty period shall be one year or more from the date of installation completion. I. Work replaced and/or repaired during the warranty period shall be guaranteed for at least one year from the date of acceptance of the repair or replacement or until expiration of the original warranty period whichever comes later. J. Bidder shall list the lead time for the windows and expected delivery/installation date
