Replacement of all the existing hydronic heating piping, replacement of existing attic ventilation system, replacement of existing bathroom exhaust systems, full building controls upgrades, and domestic water heater replacement in Housing Unit A&B. Additional work will include the replacement of two rooftop units and one makeup air unit in the Dining Hall. All bid responses require proof of State Project Registration from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. Bid responses and attachments must be uploaded to SIGMA VSS, with a maximum of two attachments (each less than 25 MB): one for bid documents (Bid Summary, Bid Schedule, Bid Bond, Certification forms, Signature Authority, etc.), and one for Qualified Disabled Veteran information, if applicable. Submissions are not allowed after the 2:00 p.m. deadline. For any issues with electronic submission, contact the SIGMA Help Desk before the deadline. Do not email bid responses to the Project Director. Approved emailed submissions must receive prior approval and be received before the deadline to be considered responsive and responsible. Bid security of 5% is required. All questions should be emailed to the specified contact by the stated deadline. All requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents, all proposals for any modifications to the Bidding Documents, all requests for information and all other questions or inquiries about the Bidding Documents and/or the Work shall be submitted in writing to the Contact Person, Requests or inquiries received less than seven (7) Calendar Days before the date of Bid opening will be answered only if (a) the response can be given through Addenda made available at least seventy-two (72) hours before Bid opening (counting Business Days only), (b) the Bid opening is postponed by Addendum, or (c) the Work is rebid without readvertising following the issuance of post-Bid Addenda.
