Renovation of an educational facility in Decatur, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Robertson Charter School will receive sealed bids at the Robertson Charter School Administrative Office regarding the replacement of heating and air conditioning systems located at the Robertson Charter School, 2240 E. Geddes Avenue, Decatur, Illinois 62526. Plans and specifications for the HVAC project may be picked up at the Robertson Charter Administrative Office at 1900 East Eldorado Street, Decatur, Illinois 62526. Bids should be sealed and marked "ROBERTSON CHARTER SCHOOL HVAC REPLACEMENT" on the outside lower-left-hand corner of the envelope. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all work. Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. Robertson Charter School reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids received, determine the lowest responsible bidder, or reject any or all bids. Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond executed by bidder as principal, and having as surety thereon a surety company acceptable to Robertson Charter School in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing under the contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 120/1-12). A bidders conference has been scheduled at the Administrative Offices of Robertson Charter School.
