Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Franklin, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes removal of existing pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, shaping and compacting the base course, utility adjustment and repair, sidewalk improvements, pedestrian curb ramp replacement, installation of a hot mix asphalt binder course and/or surface course, and associated work items as specified. Bids shall include the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials, permits, equipment, tools, supplies, and related items required for the complete performance of the work. Municipal Meeting 03/17/2026 An award of contract is anticipated to occur A certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, payable to the City of Franklin, must be included with each bid. Bidders must use the Surety2000 service online or deliver a certified check or bid bond to the City Clerk, with a copy also submitted online. No other method of providing surety is permitted. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the opening without the consent of the City of Franklin. All bids must be prepared as described in the Instructions to Bidders, and electronic bids must be submitted via Quest vBid, requiring payment of a non-refundable fee. Timely completion is required, and delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Franklin reserves the right to accept the most advantageous bid or to reject any and all bids. Award of work is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
