Major quantities for the work include clearing and grubbing of trees, common excavation, installation of crushed aggregate base courses, removal of asphalt pavement, sidewalk and driveway replacement, asphalt paving, sawcutting, installation of concrete curb and gutter, storm and sanitary sewer pipes and manholes, water services and valves, fire hydrants, and turf establishment. A bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid. The contract requires the use of American Iron and Steel products.
