The project consists of new construction of a Pre-Engineered Steel Building for the Rice Lake Utilities Water Department Addition. The scope of work includes Concrete Saw Cutting and Removal, Cast-In-Place Concrete (Furnish and Install), Sectional Overhead Doors (Furnish and Install), Prime and Painting (Furnish and Install), Membrane Roofing (Furnish and Install), Pre-Engineered Metal Building (Furnish Only and Install Only), Plumbing (Furnish and Install), HVAC (Furnish and Install), Electrical (Furnish and Install), Earthwork (Furnish and Install), Asphalt Paving (Furnish and Install), and Galvanized Chain Link Fence (Furnish and Install). The delivery method is Construction Management (CM) Advisor. All contracts will be held by Rice Lake Utilities, and Northwest Builders, Inc. is the Construction Manager. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid is required. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening without written consent. RLU reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the contract in the best interests of the Utility. The project is tax exempt, and sales tax should be excluded from bids. Bids must be submitted on the bid form, clearly indicating Contractor or Vendor Name, Bid Scope Number, Name, Addenda, and Price. Incomplete bids may be disqualified. A separate Bid Form should be used for each bid scope or combination of bid scopes being bid.
