Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; and road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for three contracts: All Saints Contract: Furnish and place approximately 3,112 SY Geotextile; 934 Ton 2A Subbase; 3,112 SY Asphalt Prime Coat; 3,112 Asphalt Surface Treatment; 3,112 SY Asphalt Seal Coat; 3,112 SY Asphalt Fog Seal; and perform 3,112 SY Pulverization. Pave Contract: Furnish and place approximately 534 Ton Asphalt Binder Course; 324 Ton Asphalt Wearing Course; and perform 2,223 SY Milling. Scratch & Seal Contract: Furnish and place approximately 230 Ton Asphalt Wearing Course, Scratch; 17,146 SY Asphalt Seal Coat; and 17,146 SY Asphalt Fog Seal. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be submitted using forms provided by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
