Bids are being accepted for the Johnson School Road Project, which consists of approximately 278 square yards of milling, approximately 20,696 square yards of full depth reclamation (FDR), approximately 2,785 tons of 2A Aggregate, and approximately 3,849 tons of 19mm Asphalt Binder Course, Fine Graded. All work and materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Pub 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. A Bid Bond of 10% of the contract amount is required from all bidders. Performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract and proof of workers compensation insurance are required within 20 days of award notification. Prevailing wages apply to this project. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
