General Nature of the Public Improvement: 2025 Davis Avenue Streetscape Improvements - Corning, IA. Project number is 125.0108.09 and is located on Davis Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street and various sidewalk improvements in various locations within the City of Corning, IA. The project includes reconstruction of the sidewalks including new intersection nodes, lighting, street signs, storm sewer, and any other miscellaneous items needed during construction. This project will have Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding Requirements. Contractor shall fully complete the project in 90 working days. Should the contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $1,000.00 per working day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract term. The late start date shall be June 1, 2026.
