Renovation of a museum in Savannah, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Bidders may submit bids for the Tennessee River Museum Roof Renovation, located at 495 Main Street, Savannah, TN. Work consists of General Building Construction, Roof Work, Window Installation, and Coping Cap Restoration. Bids must comply with the Instructions to Bidders. Documents are available from TLM Associates, Inc. and require a deposit for access; only TLM Plan Holders may participate. Deposits for documents are refundable to unsuccessful bidders if returned in good condition within 10 days of bid opening; successful bidder's deposit will be retained. Bidders must provide a completed Affidavit and Certified Application for The Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Program in a separate envelope attached to the bid envelope; bids will not be opened without these documents. A certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bonds, or satisfactory bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of the bid must be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn for 90 days after opening. All bidders must comply with relevant licensing laws and must be able to obtain required insurance and bonds. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and acceptable insurance are required of the successful Bidder. Masonry subcontractors must have a proper "LMC" classification license when the masonry portion is $100,000 or more. Bidders must be properly licensed and able to obtain and provide required bonds and insurance.
