Site work for a water / sewer project in Ontario, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
BASE BID: Install Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) in approximately 4,660 lineal feet of 8-inch sewer main and 340 lineal feet of 24-inch sewer main and reconnect services. Base bid also includes repairing 32 manholes. Question Deadline 03/18/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. ADDITIVE BID: Install CIPP in approximately 1,710 additional lineal feet of 8-inch sewer main and 340 lineal feet of 18-inch sewer main and reconnect services. Work also includes replacing 12 manholes, installing four new manholes, and installing 12 manhole liners. Project area includes portions of the sewer pipelines bordered by SW 4th Ave on the west, NW 5th Ave on the east, NW 10th St on the north, and NW 2nd St on the south. Instructions to bidders include: Bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of five percent of the bid proposal. This security is forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into contract as specified in the instructions. All prospective bidders and their subcontractors must be actively registered with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The City of Ontario reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City of Ontario. The contract is subject to the applicable provisions of the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
