The Town of Oak Bluffs Parks department is seeking quotes from qualified landscaping contractors for the installation of new ADA compliant walkways at Wesleyan & Niantic Parks in Oak Bluffs, MA 02557. SCOPE OF WORK WESLEYAN PARK : Install 2 new walkways in Wesleyan Park in Oak Bluffs approximately 185 feet long by 5 feet wide ADA compliant . The walkways will be blue stone dust with staked own metal edging following the existing dirt path walkways that extend up Winthrop Ave , to Shawmut Ave and from Shawmut Ave to Franklin Ave. Also address the transitions from road to pathways at all 4 meeting points where parts have been eroded with blue stone dust . Add in Loam and apply grass seed and hay to the new walkways level with the new metal edging and blending in with the existing grass in the park the entire length of both new walkways . NIANTIC PARK : At Niantic Park in Oak Bluffs , at the entrance to the playground on Tuckernuck Ave , install a new 19 foot by 5-foot landing in front of playground ramp , with concrete pavers , already owned by the town . Install new ADA approved walkway starting from the new landing , heading toward Pocassett Ave , following the existing dirt path . Install 4 pallets of already purchased red concrete pavers , using proper base material for the cement pavers for the new walkway while installing new metal edging with stakes on all the edges. Finish by adding Loam , grass seed and hay . Level with the new metal edging and blend in with existing grass in the park .
