Project has been cancelled Replacement of the MGT1 CO2 Fire Protection System including bottles, hoses, fittings, solenoids, and Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). Devices such as strobes, alarms, pull stations, and heat detectors will need to be tested, and faulty devices replaced. Wiring and conduit require inspection and replacement if deficient. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, programming, testing, and commissioning for a new UL-listed CO2 fire suppression system providing equivalent or improved functionality. The system should be a six-zone CO2 releasing system with two master cylinders feeding seven slave cylinders, a spare set of cylinders, reusing existing piping, nozzles, and detectors where compatible, and compliant with NFPA 12, NFPA 72, and UL 864. All installations must include functional testing, zone verification, abort and time delay testing, AHJ-witnessed acceptance test, as-built drawings, battery calculations, programming logic, and operator training. Proposals must be submitted electronically, acknowledge all addenda, and adhere to the City's policies, insurance, and safety requirements. Proposals may be evaluated on cost, technical qualifications, compliance with specifications, safety program, and execution plan. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities, reject any or all proposals, and make award based on best value, qualifications, and compliance with requirements.
