Renovates Room 517 in Building 46 to convert the existing supply room into a single-occupant office. Work includes installing heavy-duty plastic with a center zipper to contain dust, removing all shelving and brackets and transporting them to Building 59 for storage, and preparing walls and ceilings to a Level 4 finish in accordance with GA-214 using a dustless sanding vacuum system and an additional HEPA filtration system. A separate dust-control plan is required for approval. Surfaces will be primed and painted with two coats of satin-sheen paint, with color samples provided for selection. A 3/4 -inch painted plywood panel sized 3 by 3 feet will be installed on the wall containing the door to accommodate future TV mounting. Electrical work includes adding a TV-height electrical outlet at 6 feet above finished floor, running new 12-gauge wire from Electrical Room 514, installing a single-gang data box with 1-inch conduit routed to the nearby cable tray with pull string, adding another single-gang box with 3/4 -inch conduit on the wall to the right of the entry also routed to the cable tray with pull string, and installing an additional electrical outlet next to the new data box using the same new wiring run. All work must comply with the Statement of Work, with award based on lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer, including acceptable past performance.
