The objective is to construct green infrastructure to manage stormwater runoff from McLaren Park and adjacent public rights-of-way along with related accessibility improvements in San Francisco, California. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 12.00% and can only be met with certified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs. PUC-LBEs, Prime and Joint Venture level LBE participation cannot count toward this requirement. LBE subcontractors must be certified with in the scope of work they are listed to perform. All bidders must submit documented Good Faith efforts with their bids as directed on Form 2B, unless they exceed the subcontracting requirement by at least 35%. Failure to comply with Chapter 14B requirements may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for contract award. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but are not limited to, trucking, construction traffic control, earthwork and paving, and landscaping. A Class "A" California Contractors License is required to bid, and each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work they will perform.
