Renovation of an educational facility in Newport Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.

The work consists of demolishing the existing chiller and associated appurtenances, demolishing existing chiller controls, installing a new owner-furnished contractor-installed (OFCI) air-cooled chiller and appurtenances, providing a chilled water buffer tank, providing DDC controls for the chiller, performing electrical work to support the chiller, and performing structural work to support both the chiller and buffer tank. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be submitted sealed and received by the stated deadline at the specified address. - A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through is required for prime bidders, with subcontractors encouraged to attend. - Bid documents are available free of charge online, and bidders are recommended to register for addenda notifications. - A bid deposit of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount is required, submitted as a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashier’s check, or certified check. - Deposits for unsuccessful bidders will be returned after contract award; the successful bidder's deposit will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of completed performance and payment bond, certificate of insurance, and signed contract agreement. - Bids may not be withdrawn after submission except if contract award is delayed by more than thirty (30) days. - The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality.
