Renovation of a detention facility in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Clay County Board of County Commissioners (County) is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to remove existing tile and install new detention-grade, slip resistant tile in the designated dorm bathrooms and showers to enhance safety, sanitation, and long-term performance at the Clay County Jail. Question Deadline 03/18/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this RFB in electronically. Final Addendum: March 25, 2026, 4:30pm Original Cashier or Certified Check: March 30, 2026, 4:00pm Submittal Review : March 31, 2026 Estimated Date for Recommendation to Board of County Commissioners (Non-Mandatory):: April 14, 2026, 4:00pm The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids without cause and to waive technical and nontechnical or non-material defects in the request or submittals of any Bids. Substantial Completion shall be accomplished within one hundred sixty (160) days from Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the Project no less than thirty (30) calendar days after the delivery of the Punch List by the County to the Contractor. The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages (LD) of $100.00 for each day past final completion date set by the contract.
