The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms that are regularly and continuously engaged in providing As-Needed Plan Check, Community Development Technician, Building Inspection, and Building Official services. Services shall be delivered in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions set forth herein and must be performed efficiently, economically, and in compliance with applicable industry standards and best practices. The City intends to award a contract to the Consultant(s) whose proposal represents the best overall value to the City, taking into consideration cost and other relevant evaluation factors. The City’s objective is to enhance responsiveness, reduce turnaround times, and improve customer service by supplementing in-house staff with qualified consulting professionals on an as-needed basis in the service areas identified above.
